Ends with everyone accounted for

Emergency response

One alert to everyone who needs it. Every reply read, every request for help escalated, a live count of who is accounted for.

What it does

Everyone reached. Every reply read. Everyone accounted for.

When something happens, the message has to arrive, and the replies have to be read. Targeto sends the alert on the channel that reaches each person and reads what comes back in seconds.

“Safe, working from home” is counted. “Stuck, roads flooded near the depot” goes straight to a person with the location and the thread. The count updates as replies land.

What you get

Alert, read, escalate, count.

The four things an emergency message has to do, on SMS, RCS and WhatsApp, without anyone reading replies by hand.

  1. Alerts on the channel that reaches them

SMS reaches every phone. RCS and WhatsApp add buttons and read receipts where they are available. Anyone who does not respond is reached again on the next channel.

  2. Every reply read and tallied

“Safe”, “fine here”, “all good” and a thumbs up all count as accounted for. “Help” in any wording is read as help.

  3. Help requests escalated to a person

Anyone who needs assistance is handed to the on-call person at once, with their location, their thread and their contact record.

  4. A live count of who is accounted for

Accounted for, needs help, no reply yet. The list updates as replies arrive, and follow ups go to the people still missing.

Conversations on autopilot

Every reply gets read, gets answered and gets carried to a result.

Targeto takes the whole conversation from start to finish. When a customer replies, it reads what they actually want, answers within seconds in your voice and keeps the thread going until it lands on something you can count. A booked appointment. A qualified lead. A request that is closed out.

Message arrives
1Message arrivesSomeone writes “Can we move tomorrow’s appointment?” on SMS, RCS or WhatsApp.
2Intent readAppointment · reschedule. The meaning is understood, not just a keyword match.
3Reply sent“Of course. 10:30 or 2:00 tomorrow?” Sent on the channel they used.
4BookedCalendar updated, CRM updated, confirmation delivered.
What changes

What changes when it matters.

In an emergency the difference is minutes. This is what those minutes look like when the replies read themselves.
Every thread ends with everyone accounted for

  1. Everyone reached

The alert goes out on the channel that works for each person, and non-responders are reached again on another. Nobody is skipped because they are not on one app.

  2. Replies read in seconds

Two hundred replies in three minutes are read as fast as two. Every one is counted or escalated without a person scanning a screen.

  3. Help goes to a person, fast

A request for assistance reaches the on-call coordinator with the location and thread attached, not a dashboard somebody has to check.

  4. A count you can trust

Who is accounted for, who needs help and who has not replied yet, updated live, with the record to show for it afterwards.

Common questions

Questions about emergency alerts.

Five short answers on reach, replies and records. More on the full FAQs page.

See all questions
Which channel do alerts go out on?

SMS by default, because it reaches every phone. RCS and WhatsApp are used where available for buttons and read receipts, and anyone who has not replied is reached again on another channel.

How are replies counted?

Every reply is read for meaning. “Safe”, “all fine” and similar count as accounted for. Anything that reads as a request for help is escalated. Silence is tracked as no reply yet.

Who gets the help requests?

The on-call person or team you name. They receive the thread, the contact record and any location the person shared, at the moment the reply lands.

Can it send follow ups to people who have not replied?

Yes. Set how long to wait, and the people still missing are reached again, on the next channel available to them, until they answer or you close the event.

Is there a record afterwards?

Yes. Who was messaged, on which channel, when they replied and what they said is stored against each contact and can be exported for your review.
